Breakfast inspiration is here. Mix it up a little with this fast and healthy yogurt.
I really like breakfast recipes, because I usually have the same thing every morning. So here’s a quick and easy recipe to for inspiration.
When I head to the market I end up shopping for lunch and dinner, and give breakfast little thought. So as of late I’ve been thinking a bit more of my breakfasts and seeing what else the is to turn a boring breakfast into something healthy, delicious and fast.
This is inspired by the fresh fruit of the season so grab what’s available and use it. To keep things healthy use plain yogurt, yep the bitter tasting stuff. It’s way better for you than the sweetened “flavoured” stuff. Hint: it’s probably not fresh fruit tucked into the flavoured purple, blue and red yogurts.
Super simple here, chop up the nuts to get a good texture and slice up the fruit into chucks. The nuts give this breakfast a good source of protein. Mix it all together, then add the best thing ever for breakfast…honey. Just drizzle the honey over the yogurt. Don’t over do it, just enough to offset the bitter flavour of the plain yogurt.
That’s it. All done and ready for the big day ahead. Below is the recipe, step by step instructions plus a video showing how to mix it all up. Enjoy.
If you make this recipe, let me know how it turns out. Thanks, Delicious Eric
