This quick vinaigrette is made with common ingredients and is tasty on most any salad.
This vinaigrette has basic ingredients so there’s a pretty good chance you have everything you need now in your kitchen to make it. You can make it in a few minutes. It adds a nice light flavor to any green salad.
With only five minutes you can serve this homemade dressing on your salad. I find it always preferable to make my salad dressings and not use the store-bought kind. They are pretty simple to make and you know what’s in them, no preservatives, just basic ingredients you put in.
Dijon mustard and sugar add some good contrast flavors and the balsamic vinegar a nice tangy bitterness to offset the sugar.
My favorite homemade dressing is my Caesar salad dressing, but my fall back when I’m in a rush is always a vinaigrette. This one uses sesame seeds to add a little more flavor and texture to the dressing.
Below is the recipe, instructions and a super-quick video of the process so you can follow along. Let me know it you try this recipe I’d like to hear the results. Thanks, Delicious Eric.
